Berikut ini adalah pedoman / Guideline tentang API Service yang tertera pada kemasan Olie untuk kendaraan kita. Pedoman ini bertujuan memberikan pengetahuan tambahan kepada kita untuk dapat memilih olie yang terbaik untuk kendaraan bermotor kita.

Dan Pemilihan API Service yang baik untuk kendaraan bermotor kita saat ini adalah dengan kode "API Service SM/--".
Sebagai Referensi tambahan, Saat ini saya menggunakan Sepeda Motor Supra 125 X dan saya mempercayakan proteksi mesinnya dengan Oli Shell Helix HX 5 SAE 15W-50 API SL
Untuk Pick Up Carry Futura 1.3 tahun 95 saya mempercayakannya kepada Top 1 HP 20W - 50 API SM
Sekarang saya memiliki anggota baru, yaitu Daihatsu GrandMax 1.5, untuk di GM saya mempercayakan pada Castol GTX 15W - 50 API Exceeds SM (Melebih SM) tapi belom SN harganya Rp. 109.000,-/4Liter di Banyuwangi (Harga ini didapat dari pembelian oli bulan Mei 2012) Sebagai Referensi tambahan, Saat ini saya menggunakan Sepeda Motor Supra 125 X dan saya mempercayakan proteksi mesinnya dengan Oli Shell Helix HX 5 SAE 15W-50 API SL
